Box Breathing, sometimes called four square breathing, is a quick and simple meditation that you can do anywhere.

Utilized by Navy Seals, this technique will allow you to slow down, re-center yourself, and improve your concentration.

Let’s try it now:

  1. Find a comfortable seated position and when you are ready, inhale through your nose for four counts.
  2. Hold your breath for four counts.
  3. Exhale through your nose for four counts.
  4. Hold your breath for four counts.
  5. And repeat the above steps at least three times.

*If four counts is too much, you can try counts of three.
