What are the confidentiality standards you are required to meet?

Everything you tell me will be kept strictly confidential.

Are you available outside of business hours?

I typically return calls between 9 AM and 7 PM.

How is coaching different than therapy?

In therapy, there is often a focus on trauma that you may have experienced and exploring old wounds that need healing. Therapy involves a diagnosis and really diving deep into your past.

Life coaching is about moving forward and looking ahead to the life you want to cultivate and create. It involves exploring your life purpose, harnessing your inner knowing, and asking yourself how you want to show up in the world today.

It is completely appropriate to have a therapist AND a life coach. From time to time, if issues come up in life coaching that may need to be addressed in therapy, a recommendation will be made.

What can I expect as a coaching client?

I currently offer phone sessions that are anywhere from 30-50 minutes. We will start with a discovery session to explore your values and what you hope to gain from our coaching together. Sometimes you will be given homework but mostly our work is designed around what your goals and needs are as a client.

What are the benefits of life coaching?

There are many and they are powerful: Increased self-compassion, clearer boundaries, more self-awareness, greater work/life balance, increased mindfulness, clarity of values, more sense of purpose and improved relationships…just to name a few.

How do I book an appointment?

If you are a first-time client, please send me a note through the contact form.
